Christine O’Connor – Breathwork
Breathwork is an active form of breath-focused meditation. The practice of Breathwork facilitates the release of “stuck” emotions. It is a powerful, energetic practice that can help you clear out what is no longer serving you; to create space inside of you to fill with more peace, joy, and authentic expressions of self. Breathwork encourages healing, growth and transformation of body, mind, and spirit.

Why is the U School offering Breathwork?
Through our U Family programming we hope to inspire, create, and provide a variety of meaningful experiences that help adults be their best selves. We feel that there is a direct correlation to being our best adult selves and children being their best selves. In fact, that is how we explain “Ubuntu” to children—when you are your best it helps me be my best, and when we are our best, it helps others be their best. Breathwork at the U School provides a unique opportunity for the adults in children’s lives to relax the conscious mind and let the endorphins flow.
