Are there opportunities for volunteering?

Yes! The U School frequently hosts volunteering events in the spirit of bringing together our community to take care of our shared environment. Beyond that, we always welcome enthusiastic volunteers who are passionate about working with children in a happy, healthy, and inspired learning environment. Does my child need to be potty-trained in order to attend?

We recognize that the skill of using the bathroom is an individual journey and we are here to support the child and family on that journey. As such, we make no requirements for bathroom use skills for any of the children at any age.

What COVID-19 precautions does the U School take?

The U School continues to follow COVID-19 guidance for preschools and childcare centers from Washtenaw County Health Department (WCHD) and CDC. Enrolled families are given a detailed “COVID-19 Preparations and Protocols” packet elaborating on these practices.
